automatic to a manual question
i dont know 2 much about motors yet.... but i wanna learn... kinda new 2 this lol but dose any one have a how 2.. to change a auto into a stick?
I know some i just want to know if i am doing it right...
O btw its a singel cam vtech 95 civic

easiest thing would be to do a search. i've seen a few brief "how-to's" or "what you need" write ups.
to be on the right track, you would need a manual tranny, shift linkage, the manual pedal assembly, clutch slave resevoir, hard lines for the clutch. might be other things im forgetting, but you get the picture.

i'm doing the same thing to my '97 EX
i can do it with the help of one of my friends who swapped a manual into his brothers EG in a day or two.
i just need a place that i can buy an OEM honda manual transmission that will fit my car, is there a good website or would i be better off looking in my local junkyards?

i just got done doing a auto to manual swap on 95civic
as far as mounting everything the tranny mounts are different, and the mount made into the chassy is different, so you either have to cut it out and get another welded in like me, or i think they make a kit for it like 150 bucks
