Auto or Manual y8 intake manifold? Does it really matter?
I have a (manual) d16z6...and i was wondering if i got an (auto) y8 intake manifold...would it work on my z6...the same as if it was (manual)?

yes, it does matter. you need the 5-spd IM. The auto doesn't have any place for you to mount your iacv.

The 5speed Y8 intake mani. is also tapped on the bottom for a mounting bracket that mounts to the tranny.
