D16y7 I do believe, non vtec def...

Anyawy...

it's not hard at all, u'll need a
- D-series manual transmission
- shift linkage
- shifter
- clutch pedal or clutch pedal set (just a single clutch pedal is easier)
- clutch linkage
- manual ECU for the D16Y7

That's it, ECU is just plugs, everything else ur best bet is to pull of a totalled car in a junkyard, tranny for a D series (you'll want one from a 99/00 civic hatch because the shift linkage, shifter, clutch linkage, 'n all, will all fit)

Tranny is hot swap, ANY manual D-series tranny should work, direct bolt on basically, if from those years (you might be able to use any hatchback shift linkage, not sure), the shift linkage will fit perfectly, the shifter will fit perfectly (might have to do a lil cutting in the console, but doubt it....) clutch pedal needs to be bolted/screwed in, linkage should fit fine, & that's about it

THink u g2 like cut a wire or some stupid **** like that for the park override so it'll start...but that's after the swap, and real fast

u get all the parts, no reaosn it should take u ne more than a day, very very easy

I might have forgot a piece or two but I doubt it

Like I said, best bet is to get a pickup, find a totalled out honda hb, and strip it for the aprts u need, u cna usallly get everything u need in one swipe, very easy, very quickly

Only thign I could recommend is getting all the aprts first, so there isn't much down time

Even if u've never done it before, it's very very easy

Default Re: (Syndacate)

I did it just recently on an EG...easy....

on an EK though you have to cut under the console, besides that you dont need after market mounts for the tranny like the eg. Easy..What i learned is MAKE SURE YOU HAVE ALL BOLTS AND TOOLS!!!!
