Default auto to manaul question

I have a 94 ex coupe with 60k miles on the motor and the automatic tranny and i was thinking about doing a auto to manual conversion. I was wondering what were the pro and the cons of doing the conversion.

There is a lot of work involved with this, I'm in the process of doing the swap myself. There are a lot of needed parts. The pros obviously outweigh the cons. Manuals are easier to work on, you get better gas mileage, are cheaper to maintain.

These are the parts you'll need..

Tranny
ECU (manual ECU for your motor)
Starter
Clutch/Flywheel
Shift Linkage
Shifter
Shift ****
Console
Clutch Resovir
Slave Cylindar
Clutch Cylindar
Mount (NOT AN OEM MANUAL MOUNT, unless you want to weld)
Ped Assembly

That's all I can think of, I know I'm porbably missing something.

this might be another stupid question but about how much would all the parts cost to perform an auto to manual conversion?

i completed the auto - manual swap , i think its more time consuming than cost myself,

don't forget your gonna need

clutch lines
shifter bushings
chassis shifter cover (don't want huge holes where the automatice use to be)
gear oil
manual axles (size is diffrent)
as for that tranny mount
i picked up a after market tranny mount built for auto to manual conversions for $75 of ebay, i don't think its listed anymore but i know the shop that makes them if u want one.

as for the tranny, i had 2, first was lx tranny and had worn synchro's and poped out of 3rd and 5th (if u got the money to rebuild the tranny before installing i would suggest it) so i switched it to a same year ex tranny, much better gear ratio for quicker acceleration. try to pick up a ex/si tranny if u can

cost me somewhere between $7-850 not including labor

if your gonna do it yourself be prepaired for a good amount of work
