Default Auto ECU to manual

Alright i've already tried searching and come up with so many different answers. So i figured i would ask one more time. If someone know the exact thread or answers please feel free to link the thread.

I own a 93 dx hatch d15y7(manual) and i'm going to use a head from a 94 ex d176z?(automatic). And i am going to be using this auto. ECU.

What is the proper way to convert the ECU from auto to manual without getting a code19(CEL) or whatever code it is??

Remove:

RP17, and RP18

Add:

Bare wire (Jumper) across RP18

***It has also been said that programming an ecu with an automatic style program or manual style program could also be used to convert an ecu from auto to manual. Though I have not done this myself?***
