My aunts 1993 Automatic Civic's Motor Just Died last night i was wondering if anyone had a d15 for sale, her tranny, manifolds are still in good condition all i really need is the head/motor but i will buy a complete swap if you are wanting to sell it whole need one ASAP.

also if anyone could give me information about comparable motors in that series to swap in i dont usually mess with civics or D series motors im an accord/prelude guy i know people swap ZC's into thier CRX's dunno if this is a possiblity with the auto tranny and since that motor is comparable in cost to a D16 i thought id ask.

what actuall happened to her motor? loose all compresion? throw a rod?

apparently it was leaking oil for a long time it the head needs rebuilt and it threw a rod.
