Default ATF Z1 vs ATF DW-1

So apparently Honda doesnt make the Z1 fluid anymore. Is the DW-1 safe to put in my 99 EX ? Still running the stock motor and trans.

Accord to American Honda Motor Company the newer ATF DW-1 is back specced and compatible for your vehicle. You can also use Castrol
IMV ATF for your car is is specifically aimed at Honda automatics and is very close to the old Z-1 fluid.

I say if you are going to do a drain and fill use the cheaper of the two .
