is there a difference in shape between the two? can someone post a pic of the arospeed wing of their own. not the one from the arospeed website. i'm pretty sure the Spoon one is of better quality but i just want to know if i can live with the difference

I'm not sure if there is a lot of difference between the two when it comes to fit From what I have seen, the general shape is the same. I bought one from Ebay (not sure what brand it was...it did not say) and I was not happy. The fit is not good at all. Lots of gap around the wing and the construction isn't so good either. The carbon was not laid well along the edge either. Its true, you get what you pay for. I will try to get a pic posted. I'm pretty sure it is an Arospeed wing or made by the company who produces them for Aerospeed. I don't think there are a lot of companies that make the CF wings for EGs.

How much are you looking to spend? Check out benen carbon fiber spoilers. They are really good and not as expensive as Spoon with comparable quality...but you better get it quick. They are going to stop selling over the internet from what I have heard.

Spoon ALL the way. I own a spoon and i have seen copies and the fitment on the copies is garbage. Wavy cuts and big gaps.

I have an Arospeed for an EK and that thing has bigger gaps on it than a 40 Year old Hooker.
*Like I said, it is for an EK though. EG, not sure. But if the gaps are anything like mine, they are okay. It just kind of bothers you the first two weeks or so. Fitment was great, if that matters all.

yeha i'll go see whats up at BENEN. i heard they are from colma which is about 30 minutes from me. if they are cool, and the wing is cool, i'll definately get it. BTW what about fiber images? do they make CF wings?

I'm not sure if Fiber Images makes a rear spoiler for the EG. I don't think they do though. It would be worth looking into though. They make prett good stuff. I have a fiber images hood on my Prelude and really like it. Its a lot better quality then the Han Auto Trends carbon fiber hood I have on my civic.

I like fiber images. I have their hood. the fit is really good. matches up perfect;like stock. I agree with you get what you pay for. I would rather pay for the aerospeed, but I bet your not as happy with it.

i had their hood too. i was happy with the quality and fit. i sold that because i moved to fremont cali. where the BACON harass imports on the daily. so i'm making my car look a little subtle. can anyone get a price quote for CF wing from fiberimages?
