Default apexi Ws

is the cat back system for a 99-2000 Si (Sir) a straight threw muffler or it chambered?? what is the World Sport 2? i'm looking for a system that has a chambered muffler because the cops around here are nailing everyone with *improper exhaust* if its staright threw they say it's illegal. In the highway traffict act (Ontario) it says a straight exhaust is illegal and their diffention of this is no cat, no resonator and no muffler not any word of a straight thew muffler its complete bullshit and i have recevied 2 tickets of 110 bucks for my exhaust and it's not even loud its a viberant power1 cat back, With Cat and resonator. I have a friend who wants it so whatever Ws2 here i come . every where i read says its cambered but on here everyone is saying it's straigh threw i dont know. Is that the difference between and World Sport and A World Sport 2 ¿?¿

Several oem mufflers are straight through. So that's BS.

Cops won't mess with you if you get either of those two you posted.

I have WS2 on my MR1. Its quiet. But its chamered. So not good for turbo.
The fitment is ok, not that bad. It does hang a little low, but you can fix that with hangers.

Not to mention cars like the Dodge SRT-4 that doesn't even have mufflers.

The universal mufflers are staraight through.

The catback mufflers are chambered and sound VERY VERY nice. You're not going to lose much power from a straight through fart can system. I'd rather make 1-2 less hp and drive a nice, silent car. World sport FTW.

Guarantee you won't get nailed with a world sport, we have them on our personal cars and we also sell them, I love the sound, its very very quite.

NOIR is identical to the old WS, cept black paint. AFAIK they are all straight through...

either way, all are nice street systems!

what you need to do is find out the parameters for the loud exhaust code. is it 95db at 10 yards? whatever it is, go to a state referee and get them to measure...they will tell you if it's legal according to DOT. then again, looks like you are in canada so i dunno, eh

No, the WS NA catbacks are not straight through. They're baffled/chambered/whatever you wanna call it.

The cops around here bust anyone with anything aftermarket. Well...not anymore. But they went on a rampage a while back. My friend got a ticket with a world sport.

Good suggestion on the NOIR, though. The world sport NOIR is real nice. Low key.
