Oh, so the Tanabe Racing Medallion is rice?
Nice. I guess I'm a "riceboy" then huh? So is my fiancee'.
Here's our "ricemobiles" that are slow too:
Rice motors to: (By the way, we only got DOHC VTEC motors so we could be louder! Louder is more "ricey" right? The Tanabe fully exploits our "RiceTec motors too))
And a pic of the "ricey medallion" (Nevermind the dirt - my old car)
Please tell me what's ricey about a 2.25'' exhuast that is mandrel bent, and uses a full stainless steel straight-through N1-derived muffler? Out of the 5 or 6 Tanabe Racing Medallions I've seen in my area including the 2 I've owned, not ONE of them has ever had the slightest problem. They are loud, but **** no they are not ricey.
I ******* hate the word "rice" anyways. Can't you guys think up a better one than that played-out redneck term for Hondas?
I plan on adding the new Tanabe "Ricey" Super Medallion to my new CX too. FULL stainless piping with thinner walls and the same wonderful construction, and 40% lighter than stock.
The Apex-i WS is really nice, but as mentioned above it does use baffles to achieve it's low noise. When you're like me and you want the most bang for the buck, then you try to get the least restrictive exhaust for the money - that happens to be the Tanabe Racing Medallion for me
I like the Tanabe RD, but I will not knock others' and their exhausts of choice.

hey man if your bud is gonna go with APEXi he might as well save his lunch money for a dew more days and get the N1 i got the N1 on my car and i like it a lot....i get compliments all the time because it has a nice tone ...and it looks dope *** hell....i havent heard anything about the ws but i think the n1 is by far the best.....it has noticable power gains also if you have intake and exhaust.

For a 1992-1995 Civic hatchback the Apex-i N1 is a pain in the ***. It's a GREAT exhaust, but unfortunately the piping goes BELOW the right lower control arm and the clearance is mere inches (maybe 2) if your car is lowered.
For the 1996-up stuff they clear just fine and I'd recommend them on those cars.
Stright-through design and good quality too - will be louder than the WS though.

Yes it was, but I was just adding the 1992-1995 hatch comment for those with that car thinking the N1 sits perfect.
Also someone mentioned the "hanging too low" on the 1996-up coupes, so I wanted to tell everyone that it;s not the 1996-up Civics that have that problem with the N1 - only the 1992-1995 hatches.

Re: Apexi Worls Sport Exhaust on a 00 Si (CivSiGuy)
well on the point for exhausts...what about the thermal RD Stealth for a 92-95 hatch w/ b18c1? My friend has it on his GSR and I love it but for over 400 its kinda pricy considered that the apexi WS can be found for 275. I really don't want a loud exhaust and for the few times I was in my friends GSR it sounded great.
