apexi noir/ rs*r exmag??s
hello everyone i took up a new project car. it is a ej8 with a annoying fart canister on it. i am looking to go sohc turbo later down the road, but for now a nice full catback system would satisfy me for a few months. i'm looking for a system that is pretty stealth in looks and sound. i've came to two decisions the apexi noir (ws2 in flat black) or the rsr exmag. wondering if anyone has had experience with either of these exhausts and which one would you choose if you were in my shoes. cops in vegas are starting to come down on people with loud exhausts. thanks for any imput.

i have the Apex-i Noir and i absolutely love it.
I highly recommend it. it doesn't have a "rice" sound either its every smooth and i felt a great power gain from it. Apex-i ftw

I have the srs on my ek hatch with a gsr swap sounds nice at idle and a deep tone at high revs, none of that can of soup sound. I would recommend it and its really light

thanks for the imput peeps i might go with the exmag cause i heard the apexi sits lower and can scrape on speed bumps. if people have pics of both on a ej8 that would also help me out. thanks again

SRS? I had one of those on my civic when I bought it. It was N1 style...way too loud..and I wasn't really a huge fan.
OP:
So I bought a WS2. Looks and sounds great. On a coupe, the WS2 tucks away very very very well. On a hatch, it kinda hangs down. Go to the appearance section and get search for some pics. It sounds awesome. Very toned down, yet still present. The WS2 sounds a little hollow but not raspy. The regular version is cheaper than the noir...plus you get the updated ovalized and rounded off tip. Much nicer, IMO. The NOIR is only available with the old tip. I would get the regular WS2 and paint the muffler black with some high heat paint.
My friend had the RS*R EXMAG on his hatch. Good freaking luck finding one. I dont think RS*R exports them to the U.S. anymore. A lot of dealers around here got fed up with RS*R's policies anyway. It sounded better than the WS2, and looked nicer IMO.
