I had both exhaust...I started with an Apexi N1 w/o silencer on my teg, and man that was really loud...and then now I have a 5Zigen Fireball with a custom 2.25 piping and it's just as loud! They both have similar designs, and if I would prefer a quieter exhaust note. HP Gains? I think they're both similar, I would probably go for the N1 because they have a built in silencer now which should be suitable for street use. As of now, I'm willing to make a trade with someone who has an greddy sp2, apexi ws2, or rsr exmag...=P (Just tired of getting pulled over by cops)

built in silencer? I recently bought an N1 and it does not have a "built in" silencer...

Excuse me, I didn't mean "built-in" but what I meant was that it comes with a "Super Silencer" which you can put on yourself...5 Zigen Fireball doesn't have that....
check the apexi website and you'll see what I'm talkin about

Both are too loud for me and attracts the wrong people to your car. I have the N1 catback on my hatchback and it was a quality exhaust but tends to scrape since it sits at a nasty angle.

I love my Apexi N1. I have a resonator in mine so its alot quieter than my friends cat back. Looks great and is a nice exhaust with flawless welds. I would get an Real Apexi N1 over a 5ZIGEN "style" anyday

i had both exhaust on my 93 hatchback...first i had my 5zigen axle back with a custom 2.25 piping and a highflow cat without a resonator...it made a loud raspy pinging sound when i floored it and my friends said it was annoying and it was loud inside my car and now i have an apex n1 full catback with a highflow cat on my hatchback...the only down side is that it looks really big on it but i like the sound....rather than a high pinging sound it has a low deep sound to it especially when im not flooring....its fairly quiet but when u get on it it gets loud but it wasnt as loud as my 5zigen
