Anyone with Y8 HELP
Im working on finishing a y8 swap in an ef hatch and need to know where a couple things go. There is a place for a hose to connect to (seems to be a fuel return) on the back drivers side end of the intake manifold. Where does this go as I already have a fuel return hooked up to the end of the fuel rail? Also, there is some device in the middle of the fuel rail. It has a hose from the intake manifold under where the line for the EVAP canister hooks up, and a long hose that i don't know where to hook up. Does this go to the 1st thing i described? I don't want to send gas to the wrong place.

Re: Anyone with Y8 HELP (civicdxtyper)
alright i found some pics that might help:
when the fuel pump primes gas drips out of the spot labeled cruise control vacuum port in this picture i need to know if this is ok and where to connect this to.
Also:
the spot labeled "EVAC/Purge Vacuum source" leads to some little device mounted on the fuel rail and i need to know where the line out of that connects to. Any help appreciated. Thanks.

ok, i see what you're talking about. the "cruise control vaccum port" is for the intake manifold vaccum line. it goes to the cruise control canister, located in the corner of the engine bay on the driver's side. it'll run like **** if not connected. the "EVAC" line goes to the evap canister to the bigger hole. if your car doesn't have an evap canister, then this one doesn't matter. just plug it up or something.

exactly
do you have a 96-98 y8 or a 99-00 y8 because the intake manifolds are slightly different.................. but it seems as though your questions have been answered.
