Anyone used Kuhmo ecsta supra 712 v rated?
My dad is about to buy some for his 2000 civic si. His stock tires are pretty much shot and is looking for something with more performance that are reasonably priced. Are these tired even worth getting or would you recommend something else in the same price range. I told him he should just get the z rated ecsta supras. Let me know what you all think.

I loved them when i had them on my integra, they were pretty nice. i think i got 195/50/R15 for somehting around 240 shipped from tirerack.com. Od course, this was comparing them to bald yokahamas. But i will be buying some for my civic now, after I wear out the POS ones i have.

your dad so its not your si????? lol yeah those are good tires, cant go wrong with a set of kumho supras, i like falkens.

I had them on my teg and my civic. No complaints. Definately worth the money. I bought mine from http://www.tirerack.com also.

i'm using the 711's the earleir version of 712. 205/ 50 15's, and man can these things grip. have had them for a year now, and they stick to the ground. nothing beats $70/ brand new kumhos

the kuhmo's are great. if yer getting them for daily driving. if yer dad is gonna be racing all the time, get the falkens, but the kuhmo's work great for everyday.

Track driving or autocross = Falkens
For the money, the Kumhos are just about the best tire for the street. They squeal alot though.

I'd get the 205/50/15's that's what i'm running on some rota c8's. They are 58 bux a piece on http://www.tirerack.com. That's where i got mine and they have a 340 treadwear rating....they held up much better than the 205/40/17's.

I formerly had a 2000 si and now have a 92 si, so i still drive one. He has a 2000si. thanks
