Anyone running turbo+p/s+a/c?
I am currently building a "homemade turbo" kit for my EG2. I really want to keep my p/s and a/c. I see there are a few manifold that say they are compatible with these, but I have yet to see a car with still. If any of you guys are turbo and are running your p/s and a/c still please post pictures so I can see the clearances and the way the IC piping/downpipe will need to be routed. Thanks

damn i can't find them neither. I know their out their. Alot of company's have a smaller type designe to a manifold to fit p/s and ac.

p/s not necesarily pointless, depends on the feel you like.
a/c defintely not pointless...because if not the heat, then the humidty.

Also check out http://www.spoolinperformance.com . Check out the Quick 4 p/s and a/c compatible manifold (I think that's what it's called).
EDIT: It's called the Quick4AC.

Honestly... and how hard is it to have your motor built to run a tad more boost? Yanking out your AC will make your DD very uncomfortable even at 85 degrees in the summer time.

Re: (DrewMD)
expletive power steering. Are you a bunch of girls?
A/c is the only comfort worth keeping. Unless you live in Canada.
The only daily driving difference i noticed with not having ps was turning the wheel at under ~2mph. If your moving, you don't need power steering. It's easy.
I don't like the idea of GA spring/summer with no a/c. Much less texas/arizona/new mexico summer.

Well it is my daily driver so p/s is nice for all the in and out tight driving from a stand still. A/c is a must here. I pulled the a/c out on my old Civic/turbo project and hated it. It was running 105+ here a few weeks ago and the humidity is horrible.

I have driven a few cars/trucks without power steering and I believe that it's a necessity for easy control of the vehicle, plus it's less work to drive around sharp corners and when you're not moving.

Re: (ke98248)
dont need p/s on a honda, but i haven't had a/c this whole summer and that **** sucked *** so much. most ps and ac compatible manifolds are logs i believe. all the ic piping should b the same. i have neither ps or ac but my piping doens't come in either ones area. it should clear.

i could live with out p/s but not with out a/c. Unless i have a DD with a/c then i wouldn't care much about for my project/weekend car.

Yeah I know it will be a log style manifold. I was just seeing how many people are running them. I see the ones that say they are compatable, but don't see people running them with the p/s and a/c still in.
This is my DD stock EG2. Going with a low boost setup just for some add power. Right now the setup looks like this:
OEM B16A3
Log style p/s a/c compatible manifold
T3 turbo with internal wg
SAAB FMIC
Chipped P28 running crome
1g DSM BOV
DSM 450cc Blue Tops
Xenocron fuel pump
Stealthmode Oil Line kit
My "toy" is a 79 El Camino SS turbo in the works.

less work to drive around sharp corners and when you're not moving with PS? DUMBEST STATEMENT EVER.
cause i really need ease of turning when i'm not moving.
OP i've occasionally seen them in Honda Tuning, but honestly i can't imagine a male needing PS in a honda. My best friends 90lb sister had a del sol without PS and never complained, you guys need to stop listening to Dashboard Confessional or something.

dear god lots of misinfo here.
and A/C does nto rob that much power...
ill never get rid of my a/c with it being 90 out this summer.
alot of manifolds are a/c p/s compatible. Lots of lots even ramhorns.
you must not be looking very hard there are a ton in the sponsor section or just ask spoolinperformance.
