i just got some toyo proxes mounted on my ssr super fins sized 195/50/15. one problem.... its too damn loud. the tire noise is horrible on the freeway, i can barely hear my exhaust. they're the t1's. ive had falken ze-502's and they're nowhere near this loud. is it just me? sorry for the dumb question.

I was surprised by the noise too. They really sing at highway speed. Much noiser that the Pirelli P-Zeros they replaced, or the Falken Azenis I use for auto-x. Well, live and learn. Back to Pirelli next time.

I went through 3 toyo proxes before realizing they were **** tires. i ripped the inside wall and had flats cause they suck. (not because of incorrect camber) plus the road noise sucks.

Be specific for which Proxes you use. I've used a set of 195/50-15 FZ4s (October 1999-May 2002), and I replaced that set with my current 195/50-15 T1-S tires. I Solo2 and hot lap frequently, and have had no problems.

Any tire can blow on the freeway...it doesn't matter the brand.

my mom has them and they are okay

they aren't really load unless you sit in the back seat

t1-s proxes is a good tire, I`ve had 3 sets over the years. I`ve never had a problem w/ road noise. Plus, they lasted a lot longer than other brands I have used.
