Default anyone recommend brighter headlight bulbs?

aright, my experience with headlights is none. anyone tell me good bulbs that are slightly brighter than factory bulbs but still last a good amount? i head silverstars are just for show and don't last that long =/.

and could u please give exact bulb names, seeing that i have no idea what you'll be talking about if u just say sylvania silverstar's

I have had silverstars going on 2 years. They're not for show. Brighter and street legal ftw. Any of the 9003 models are fine.

I've been using PIAA Starwhites for a year or so and love them....they give off a nice white light and are pretty bright imo.

well how are they in the rain? when its raining out, objects tend to reflect more poorly and i dont want this to be the case if i get "hyper white/blue" headlights

im not risking my life nor my girlfriends (since shes always with me) just to see better when its not raining out or during the snow

i was just recommended osram silverstars cuz a lot of other hyper white bulbs are just coated bulbs and don't put out that much more light than stock. on the other hand, these osram silverstars i was recommended are said to put out 300 lumens more light than stock

ne1 confirm?

I have the Osrams. Waste of money. I could've bought some $10 Sylvanias and not tell the difference. Same goes for the Sylvania Silverstars

I still use the Osrams and I can't see well in the rain. I'm not sure if its the bulbs or the angle of my headlights, but for the money they suck IMO

I have not had a set of bulbs where I was like "THESE ARE AWESOME!" So I couldn't tell you lol. HIDS are the only things where I was really impressed

agh, i guess ill just have to invest in foglights first then get brighter bulbs

My starwhites are fine in the rain. No problems at all.

The silverstars are brighter and whiter than the stock bulbs, but by no means are they any better in the rain. My oem fog lights help when it's raining, not a whole lot, but definitely more than if you were to upgrade your headlights with something other than an HID retrofit.

I want to add to my post that I have the sylvania silverstars not osrams. They're great in the rain. Fog is another story.
