Anyone in Orlando that can help me with welding?
I'm not sure if this is the right place to post, but I am a fellow eg owner and the muffler is on my 94 sedan....
Today I took a new oval-style muffler to midas and told them how I wanted them to put it on. $138 later they did put it on, but they put it on wrong. When I told them that it was on the wrong way, they said that is how I told them to do it. I asked them if they could fix it and they said yes, but if they did i'd have to pay another $100! WTF!?!?!
on me for not checking the work before I handed over my debit card.
But anyways, I spent just about every last dime I had to get this thing installed, but I need it corrected b/c it looks like ***! If there is someone in the Orlando area that can do fix it for free or just hook me up with a good deal i'd greatly apreciate it! All that needs to be done is turn the muffler around, switch the hangers, and re-weld it. Shouldn't be more than a 20min job but I can't do it myself.
I also posted this in GDD but I don't think it will get as much views as it would in here. Any mods reading this, feel free to delete/lock the thread if it is inapropriate for the forum.

They should fix it for free, if not just retract the charge from your bank. And tell them that you will do this if they dnt fix it.

Why didn't you MAKE them fix it? There is no dam way they can charge you another $100 because THEY put it on wrong. I'd try and cancel the charge on the card and go back tomorrow and bitch to the manager. Don't let them take advantage of you.
