Anyone know where this plug is for?
Just swapped an LS into my 93 CX hatch. The plug is from 94 GSR engine wire harness, the intake mani and motor is from 2000 LS. I don't know where this extra plug connects to, it looks like the plug for the FITV or IACV with two wires ( greenand the other is red w/ yellow strip) but not sure. Sorry for the pic being so huge, my first time posting here.
where did this go? -i know they have one for OBD1, but don't see one on this mani.
what about this hose from the black bottle on the firewall? where does it go?
please anyone help!
Ok here are the updated and smaller pics...
Here is a front view of it
Here is the canister with the extra hose i dont know where to connect to?

just some ideas straight from my memory, so I could be wrong, but:
-what year is the motor? if it is 96+, there is no FITV.
-since its a gsr harness, you will have an extra plug that is shaped like that, its for the IAB (intake air bypass), that is to actuate the solenoid for the dual stage manifold.
-those hoses are for your EVAP system. I suspect that the unknown plug may also be for your evap solenoid.
hope that helps some..
EDIT: duh, i read that its a 2000 motor. also i see that you have the obd2 style evap solenoid. so yeah, the extra plug is probably for the gsr IAB solenoid. Since you are using an obd2 engine in an obd1 chassis, the evap is not giong to be 100% compatible.. I would just leave it unplugged, or if you really want to, get an obd1 evap solenoid, mount it somewhere, and hook up the vacuum lines. You will probably need to use a vacuum T to make an extra port.

i think one of those hoses connect under your intake manifold to a black rubber fitting. i don't know what it's called but i'm pretty sure that thing is it.

Re: Anyone know where this plug is for? (carsaregood)
thanks for the help...i appreciate it...do they have individual GSR IAB at junkies? can i just mount a GSR evap solenoid somewhere on the firewall? or by the intake? I just want these hoses and this wire to hook up somewhere, getting sick and tired of people looking at my motor and saying this and this is hook up wrong, what is this wire for, whats this plug for? etc..etc.. you get the picture.

the hose and the plug go to the EVAP purge solenoid, which is not on your motor. search under my name and you will see a post i made about this very same thing. and how to fix it

since you have an ls motor, you don't need to hook up the IAB plug. if you want it to be clean, then just cut the plug off the harness, and electric tape it up so none will be the wiser
also, you don't need a gsr evap solenoid specifically. you should be able to use just about any obd1 solenoid. goodluck
