Does anybody here know this guy?

I paypalled him on October 11th for a JDM ITR header, flange, and donut gasket.
It has been one excuse after another as of why he can't ship it.

He hasn't emailed me back since November 6th. I've AOL instant messaged
him numerous times to no reply.

I think I got jacked here. If anybody here knows him personally could you urge him to ship it?

There goes my trust of H-T members and paypal.

I don't know man. I've talked to him a few times and he seemed pretty nice. Meaning if he were in fact trying to rip you odd i would be suprized. I really hope everything is cool and he comes through.

On a side note. I know how things happen. I'm having a similar probem with shipping a set of wheels. Most of it was my error in that i didn't have boxes big enough to ship them and now it's hard to find time to get them shipped with my work schedule. Then i had a family member pass away this tuesday..... Thing don't always work out the way you plan.

Thanks guys. He seemed really cool but it just seemed like something
was always coming up. I know how busy schedules can be, but $400
bucks for me isn't pocket change being a University student.

I'm sure he wasn't trying to rip me off, but I just got a little worried
because I haven't heard from him in 10+ days, and its coming up on
a month and a half from the beginning of the transaction.

He seems very anti-flake to me, so perhaps he could kick his bro's *** in gear.

It just *sounds* like the guy doesn't have you on the top of his list of priorities - not like he's blatantly trying to rip you off.

Dan is good guy.. but his brother miguel i would watch out for. i worked for him for about 7 months.. he told me how ill get a work car and make all this money. meanwhile i was working to break my car so i can pay for it. i work all over goin more then 100 miles to fix 1 truck in my personal car .. and he didnt pay milage. So naturally i quit his job.. and now he is scumming me over for 2 weeks of pay. i get 365 a week.. He recently told "Anonymous" that hes not gonna be giving me my paychecks.. well it has been over 2 months that i havent gotten my paychecks and i have already contacted a lawyer .. and this week my parents are contacting the Labor Board of the State of NY. So i would just watch out for diaz .. Word of advice

I know you said it would be a little bit, but you also said it would be shipped last Monday (Nov. 11).

Dan emailed and hopefully one of his friends will be able to ship it. We'll see though. I'm sure I didn't get ripped off but I just hate waiting, especially for a month+.

Kaution----That story really gives me some great confidence with these guys As long as Dan is as cool as he sounds through email things will be ok.

funny thing, i tried to get a job with miguel. i contacted him by phone once and spoke with him about the job, and all i got was a handful of promises that id get a phone call back. i mean, if yer busy yer busy....but if you can take the time to post online and shiet, you can take the time to at least keep me updated.

If it had been me, you would have had your header a month and a half ago but, unforuntately it wasn't. There's no excuse for him but, I am certain he will send it.

As for "Kaution" this kid was a loser, and a thief. That is why he is no longer working for me. I guess that's what happens when you hire a kid to do a man's job. Blakanese was trying to get some satisfaction with Dan. DAN, Not Miguel his brother. I understand what its like to feel like you've been treated unfairly but you really need to take this to IM or do what you feel you need to do.

I've noticed that sometimes we get into this pack mentality like once someone seems like the have done something wrong we instantly blast them. I've been here for a while, so I've seen alot of these guys posts and miguel seems to be a fair individual.

Your gripes with him aren't car related so it really has no place on this board. This seems like a issue of a more personal nature, so treat that way. I'm not saying that your issue with Miguel isn't warranted or important, I'm saying that it needs to be handled off-line or off H-T.

Sorry if I seem like a *******, I just fail to see how your issue with Miguel having work in your area or not paying has anything to do with Black, H-T or any member of these board. Besides there are always 3 sides to the story and Miguel and yourselves don't need to air your laundry (Dirty or clean) on a online msg board.

nuh uh man, you just said when we spoke on the phone that youd call me back in 2 days and let me know what was going on. it turned into 2 weeks before i got another response from you. just sucked cuz i was VERY eager to start working.
