I'm doing a project in school, and I need to know whats used in making carbon fiber, and carbon fiber parts. Anyoen help or links would be appreciated.

It is exactly as described. It is a fiber made from a carbon compound. It uses a resin to harden and can be baked to make stronger. It is very similar to fiberglass but the carbon composite is stronger/lighter, and of course looks cooler.

Well I am not exactly sure what you are asking for but basically carbon fiber is like fiberglass, a flexible sheet that is put in a mold and then a resin is put on it to harden it. Here is a link that has some supplies for sale http://www.tapplastics.com/sho...de145

ya it does help thanks. I was trying to ask what "ingrediants" are used to make Carbon Fiber. But by the response I got, I would assume, you can buy it already made and all you have to do to make parts is use it in a mold?

Pretty much there really isnt that much to it, especially if you are only making parts that dont have to be very strong. Like hoods and lips and spoilers and things like that. Not really much stress on those parts.
