anyone have a diagram of the crank pulley on a 94 civic ex?
i am concidering buying a 94 civic ex coupe and the crank pulley is loose and will not turn the alternator or any other belt driven parts. the motor has been replaced a few thousand miles ago and i think that the pulley bolts werent torqued to the proper specifications. i have little experiance with imports other than owning an mg and a couple 280Zs just out of highschool ( which was more than a few years ago)
if no one has the diagram can anyone tell me what could possibly be the problem and how much it might cost to fix?
any help will be greatly appreciated.

it seems as if your rubber around the center of the crank is destroyed ( it acts as a harmonic balancer ) check it by taking off the cover for the fender area and turn on the car.
but if the crank stays also then dont even bother buying it because it causes damage around the crank and you will have to either fix it or get a new / used crank

you're missing a key like someone said above. The key is what locks the pulley in place from rotating from the crank regardless of how tight the bolt is tightened.

thanks rmcdaniels, looks like a quick and easy saturday project IF the pin didnt gauld the crank when it sheared/ came out. the engine was replaced a few months ago so i think the mechanic didnt tighten the pulley bolt properly.
