I already have the power racing VS-04 rims...with tires they weight at 28.5lbs (195/50R15)....since i went to sohc, need something lighter then that.....and smaller to loose least amount of power to rotate some crazy bling bling wheels.....

Just wondering, who makes z-rated tires for 14's, if no one then would it be a bad choice to get 14's? Might get those rims if i can match it with some good rubbers

check tire rack (Dunlop SP8000 - z rated and few other race rubbers)
good sizes are 195/55R14 and even 205/55R14, but for cheap rubber 185/60R14, can't be beat

Re: Anyone has any comments on these wheels??? (eg6ajk)
do you plan on doing any lapping/road racing on these rims? To me they look very weak where the wheel studs pass through. A friend of mine had a wheel come off because his cheap BSA rims failed around each of the stud openings and the wheel basically sheered off and went for a little joyride of its own. He did some fairly significant damage to his fender/wheel well area, but luckily that was all. After inspection, the other 3 rims where showing stress fractures around the stud openings too. Anyway, I wouldn't feel particularly confident racing on those rims but if they're just for street use then I'd say they're a very nice looking and lightweight rim for that kind of money

Those look good. I actually like 14" wheels on older civics. 14x6 is a good choice and they spread 185s or 195s out pretty good.

yes the wheel is for mostly auto-xing and some amateur lapping days....not planning on slicks or any other super sticky tires, so i don't think breakage should be a problem....
15's are out of question, not enough WHP to properl them well....

How do you get everything for free? Free paint, free wheels. Free motor too?

wheels=right place at the right time
Motor=let's not get started on that one, I could only wish I got that for free, for everything I have gotten for free, what I have put into my motor makes up for it and then some.
But Seriously mostly I do engine work, buildups, and swaps for people and sometimes all they have to pay me with is parts, so I take em
