Anyone had Code 65 and Code 9... can you help me..
Whats up HT,
I searched this a couple times now, and I found the wiring diagram which basically shows you the diff between the 3 pin ckf and the 2 pin ckf...I have a 97 Dx coupe and on the harness it has 3 pins. The engine I put in has 2 pin connector. I saw in one of the threads I searched that match the two colors from the three to the two pin connectors and wire it up like that, and leave the third one unplugged. Now I want to know whats wrong with that. I did it that way and sure enough the CEL came on. I belive the code 9 is due to the ckf code.... If you can help me I'd appreciate it..
THANKS

did you see this one? aparently you don't need that sensor. You are using the OBD1 ecu right?

Eliminate the orange wire from the ckf(just leave it there taped up). Switch pins a12 and a14 on the ecu side. If you have code 91 it will not go away. It is the fuel tank pressure sensor. Our cars do not have this sensor. I have read that you can get a carcol canister from a 99-00 si with a purge valve on it and should take care of the problem, but I went obd1 before I ever decided to mess with it
