Anyone ever think about how bad it is to post pictures?
I'm just wondering. Think if your a thief on the market looking for a car. Wouldn't you hang out here at Honda-Tech and wait for some one to post pictures of their car from your area?
Just want opinions and thoughts.

Ever think about how bad it is to spend so much money on a car in the first place only to drive it around where thieves can see it?
I mean I cannot live in fear because of some thieves - I want to enjoy my car and share my experiences with others while I can.
...that's just me thiough.

I always think about how bad it is to post pictures up here...I am SURE there are thieves browsing these boards, finding our cars, and taking them. Thieves, if you are reading this...**** YOU!!! And for all of you who aren't thieves, stay safe and keep your cars protected. It's a rough world out there and these thieves seem to be coming out on top

Yes but its kind of like Tom said, you cant be living in fear all of the time. You can only do so much to protect it, but this is the world were living in and we just got to deal with things (crap) as it comes. Yes you have the choice of not posting it up but then again you have the choice of never taking it out and driving it and keeping it on lock down and never letting anybody see it. People enjoy to share their pride and joy with other people and feel like they have accomplished something wth their car. So for all you begging rat bastard thieves out there F-U.

Some of my friends and my self have had there cars stolen and they never even posted a single picture online. Your car just has to be really well protected to try to deter them.

I can't live in fear. Posting pics of your ride here is no worse than going to the grocery store for 2 things. Also, a lot of the cars stolen in my area did not have alarms. These people cry about getting their ride jacked when they didn't invest in any anti-theft mechanisms. On the other hand, if I didn't have a garage, a gun, an alarm, and a passion to brutally inflict pain on thieves, I probably would never post pics of my car.

If they want it, let them come and try. I double dare ya.
No POS is going to make me change a thing about the way I do things. These people are not just on web boards, they are everywhere. They are at the mall, the movies, church, on your block, at your schools, everywhere! If you are going to worry about this, don't bother doing anything to your car... for that matter don't buy a car.
For the thieves... What goes around comes around, I promise you!

If you are worried about it, cover your tags and dont disclose your location. Considering that this website has members all over the world, I wouldnt be too worried about thieves finding you.

You selling your car Miguel?? Your car is sweet as hell. Just tired of it? My friend had a Z06 for awhile. It was a 2001 which had 20 less horsepower and that thing hauled holy a$$.

Interesting insite everyone.
I was not saying I was afraid to post pictures. Or didn't want to share my "ugly beast" I was just wondering if everyone thought about it.....especially with all of the memebers suddenly claiming thefts.

Re: Anyone ever think about how bad it is to post pictures? (vtecvoodoo)
I don't mind posting pics of my car, nor do i mind anyone else posting pics of it up on the net. That is of course as long as my location is not mentioned. If anyone by chance accidentally posts a pic of my car with the tag unblurred, it's okay. They would have to search my entire state for my car because it is personalized. Yes, i know someone could run the tag and get my location, but that takes effort. If they want to go through the trouble to get all that info, then come get my car, they can have it for all i care. Just make sure i never see the thieves or my car ever again.
