Anyone ever remove plastic piece under windshield to clean out debris??
I noticed a lot of debris under the plastic piece at the base of my windshield. Has anyone ever removed this piece to clean underneath? I was told that there are little channels underneath that allow the water to drain. If these channels get clogged rust can start to form from the moisture being trapped.
Anyone have any experience with this part of an EK?
Thanks!

I'm going to take mine off tomorrow for a good cleaning underneath. Also, may go ahead and spray the plastic with flat black paint while it's off. I'll probably take post pics of what's underneath --> channels, crud, etc....

I usually use some armor all on plastics. Use paint on metals.
Either way
