I think they could find out where you live. Maybe if they had connections in the DMV change the vin number of a stolen car and then your car will be annonced stolen? I dont know.

they can take the vin number to the dealership and get a key made.i believe then they can find out your address and then steal your car

no to do that you have to have a valid license, registration and the title to the car, but there is other things they can do
