anybody have track times on a build h22 head stock block in an eg
I wanted to build my head on my h22 eg
- Full Race Ported H22 Cylinder Head
-Dual Valve Springs
-Titanium Retainers
-3 Angle Valve Job
-High Flow Racing Valves
-Diamond Milled
-stage 2 cams
-racing 6 puck clutch
was wondering if somebody with this similar set up has run, or what I would be running with slicks and gutted interior cx.

who knows. all depends on driver and launch. you can run a low 13 maybe 12's with a good driver or even a 15 with a shitty driver. i seen eg h22's run low 13's all day stock. so you do the math.

I'd say about low - mid 12's. The shop I frequent around here had an EG/H22 run a 12.95 or something on slicks, and that was with just bolt-ons

I ran a stock untuned h22 eg si (sunroof and power steering) full interior on slicks @ 13.9. I would hope to be in low 12s with a built head, but it all does depend on the driver and tuning too.

I also frequent that shop and can vouch for this car, it was even running through a stock header with heatwrap. Car will roll with an H in it.

I actually got one of my co-workers to buy that hatch. But he started "ricing" it out. Doesn't even look the same anymore. Tell Jeff that I'm representing the shop from 6,000 miles away

that hatch had/has crower stage 2's in it also most eg hatches with stock h22 swaps run mid to high 13's.

I was referring to Larry's hatch, it has gone 13.00's I believe on slicks through a stock header with a crome tune on it.
Jeffs was a bit more built, his current LSVTEC is straight nasty though.

eh, i'm not sure. i know he ran 13.7 with the completely stock swap on slicks (stock header, ecu, etc.). not sure if he ran it with that same set up and only tuning. he's running 13 flats now, but it's by far a stock h22 any more (trapping 111). personally i think his car is cursed and won't run 12's. he was running the same exact time (13 flat) when he had almost 50 less hp and prolly 40 ft/lbs less tq in the same car
