I am having trouble installing my fiber images hood on my 00 si. Anybody else have any problems installing? What did you do to fix it?thanks

I don't have one and cant help you, but i can suggest you give more info, like where you are having problems and stuff. That way people can try to help with the problem, and would know if they had the same issue or not.

i cant get the darn hood to close. i can close the hood when the bolts are loose, but once i tighten it the alignments off and it just wont close. some ideas would help. i was suggested by someone to use washers and i tried that also, didnt work. once again, its the FIBER IMAGES cf hood for my 00 si.

Fiber Images hoods never seem to line up right and you have to adjust this and that and it still doesn't fit right. Good Luck!

man, the reason i went with fiber images was i heard nothing but good things about them. im sure theres a way to make it fit. i cant get my money back now cause i bought it off some guy who i specifically asked "if it bolted on without any problems",and he replied "yes".

how do u adjust the hood latch? i think that maybe the problem.

just call joey butaffucco from ny. he'll come over and set **** stright. that sucks that some people will tell consumers anything to get them to buy there product. good luck with the hood.

Hood latch adjustment is made at the hood latch. Three bolts, loosen 'em, lower or raise the latch, try again. Word.

i have a oo si too and when i put on my cf hood it wouldnt latch on too. so all i did was shave it where the hood would hit that latch. just shave it until itll close thats all i did and it worked for me.

My hood fits perfect, but it does have a little trouble catching the latch also.
