Any of you EK guys formerly an Integra owner? Do you regret the change? Why or why not?
I'm seriously considering trading my car in ('95 GSR) for a 98-99 ish EX coupe (then a swap or boost.. whatever). Have any of you gone from a 3G Integra to a 6th gen civic (or any civic for that matter)? Any regrets?

I'm getting ready to go to an ek from an 88 s-10 4x4 pickup with a HO 4.3. I will miss the torque but it will be worth it. Never had an integra though, so sorry I can't help you there.

i just switched to an EK from a 99 gsr. my teg was stolen so i decided to get an EK and i have swapped in my new motor and its getting painted right now. i dont regret the switch cause my hatch feels faster and i dont have to worry about it like i did my teg, but my teg was soooooooooooooooooooo much more comfortable...dont regret the switch here so far

I had a 97 4-door gs-r that I sold 'cause the payments got to be too much. From there I bought a 94 Civic Si, then I found my baby, a 99 Civic CX for about the same price I had purchased the Si for. So I bought that, then sold the Si at a big loss. With ITR seats in my EK it is *SO* comfortable. The EK seats aren't terribly comfortable, so I ditched 'em quick.
I have no regrets about the decision, and I absolutely love my EK. My teg was cool too though.

YumVTEC, I'm in the same situation as you were. I had to finance the whole amount for my car since I didnt have credit so my payments are a burden. My g/f has a '96 coupe and I dont mind the seats that much. I really am looking for at a coupe (I like the body lines better and I'm tired of hatch noise). to me, I probably should have just said 6th gen civic instead of EK.. either way, thanks for the imput. Any more?

I had a 94 charcoal gsr, but then switched to a eg. I like the performance so much better out of the civic, but I liked the interior in the gsr.

I went from a 96 GSR to a 98 ex coupe. Do i regret it? well, only the power portion. I love my 100$ a month less payments, and 50$ less insurance a month. The car basically drives the same, now i just want to get some 15" rims so i have more tire choices. Oh, and the backseat can actually fit people in it, always a plus.

I love my EK, it's a different feel though. But parts are readily available and insurance is way cheaper (Toronto, Canada). Basicly it comes down to whether or not you want to change your ride, you can have a dope car but it'll get tired after a while so switch it up!

I went from a 95 LS to a 95 GSR to a 91 SI HB to a 95 EX Coupe. I liked the 91 Si and i like my ex to. No question the GSR was the better of the cars, but i like like my ex too because i think it looks better, and the insurance is better. I would never trade a gsr for any ek besides a CTR because i personally dont like the 96-2000 Civics.
