Any SoCal EK owners with authentic C-West fronts? Check in here...
Hey...
I got an authentic CWest front bumper a few months ago. Unfortunately although it was painted already, the main scoop was cut for an intercooler which I dont have.
I am trying to lay some new fiberglass in order to replace the gap in the scoop. But I would like to take some measurements off of an existing CWest bumper?
Does anyone have one i can check out? I'll buy you lunch in payment!!!

Do you know if there is a difference between authentic and other C-west style bumpers. I have the C-west front and I got it from importfan.com. I will measure it if you want, but I dont understand exactly what you want measured, do you have any pics to help me out?

thanks for the reponses...
I think the copies are probably the same as the authentic as far as the dimensions go.
I dont have any pictures yet, but the part that was cut off, is the section of the center air scoop that connects to the radiator support.
My bumper has been cut about 2-3" from the radiator support.
Here are some pics (Courtesy of Jonas ) of how the scoop connects to the bumper support

Are you talking about the part right in front of the intercooler, right below where it says SPEARCO? I can run outside and measure it now if thats it.

Oh, now I see those other pics of the yellow one, mine doesn't even connect to the radiator support there, so I dont think I can help you. I will still go measure how deep the center scoop goes on mine if you want though.

of all body kits, the one on the yellow car is the least ugly, i mean the shape. the car is ugly enough with that yellow, but the one without the chicken wire is pretty cool.
