another valve train question??
How high could I rev the stock valvetrain with an aftermarket cam on a d16y8 8000rpm higher or lower. I was just wandering Im not sure on the sohc engines.

I'm not too sure about SOHC motors, but I think the same should apply to them as to DOHC. For my old B16 I got stiffer valve springs and titanium retainers. Reprogrammed my ECU and revved to as 10K afterwords, but the most important part I think was my ECU.
