Another smog thread (USDM vs JDM)
Ok I went to the CA somgcheck website and it states the engine has to be from CA in order for it to pass the refs. People are saying JDM motor from Japan is okay with refs. I'am confused.
How can I find out if my engine is from CA in order to pass the refs and can anyone explain how a JDM motor will pass the refs? "Maybe I over looked it on a different thread."

Re: Another smog thread (monsterb18b)
read my sig about jdm motors...
what kind of motor do u have jdm motors usually dont have the number on the end of the engine block usdm = b18c1, jdm = b18c
also ur motor has to be same year or newer and have a usdm header, ecu, and all the smog equipment hooked up like that cool diagram under ur hood...
