Another question about spoon replic mirrors
Ok, I have searched. Are the replic mirrors adjustable? I read where some owners say they adjusted the mirrors before they install them. Well that would be almost impossible, at the very least a PIA. So what I'm asking is once the mirrors are installed are the actual glass mirrors inside adjustable? Maybe I just missunderstood what I read but I would like to know. I have a broken mirror on my hatch. For the cost of a single replacement mirror, I can get a set of the spoon replics.

They are somewhat adjustable. It is best to try to have them adjusted before the mirror is installed. You can mount the housing of the mirror to your car and then try to have the mirror adjusted before you adhere the mirror to the housing with the double sided tape. I found that the passenger side can't be adjusted that much b\c it hits some of the mounts.
Once the mirror is taped to the housing I was kinda afraid to try to further adjust the mirrors b\c I did not want to break the glass. It requires some force to move the mirror and you have to press on the glass.
Overall I'm happy with mine but the passenger side is not perfect.
Hope some of this helps

Re: Another question about spoon replic mirrors (fakemike)
So the mirrors are attached to the housing with sticky tape? Sounds kinda cheesy. Did you use your stock glass mirrors or did they come with mirrors? I know the stock mirrors pop onto the stock housing. I thought the same would be for the spoon mirrors. I've seen some ads which say the have blue tinted glass and other ads show the housing with no mirrors in them.
BTW: thanks for the info.

I got the carbon fiber spoon replica mirrors from JDM ****. I had no problem adjusting them or installing them. You may want to check those out.
