Another EG gone!!! sad sad day in the Bay Area(milpitas) watch out
Hey guys, today my friends black Eg was stolen from his front driveway sometime in the early morning. He had a VIS carbon fiber hood, duckbill, rota slips gunmetal with lip, aem CAI red, spoon lower tie bar, knock-off vision mirrors all of which were recently purchased within the past 3 months. Just wanted to give you guys a heads up if you come across anyone selling you parts in the Bay Area in the next few weeks.

Yea he had an alarm, but didnt take other precautions other than that such as a kill switch, jus never thought it would happen around here

my uncle lives in Milpitas... i never knew it was like that.... i was thinking of moving there this summer but i will be ready if i do... anyways that sucks

that sucks hopefully your friend has full coverage insurance. I hope the thiefs just took it for a joy ride. sorry to hear about another one coming up missing.

heres an update, the cops found my friends car in Stockton, I do not know the extent of the missing parts, but all the cops told him was that the hood is gone and his stereo system. Hes going to check it out right now, If I get a chance, I will post up some pictures of his car

My friend's DC2 was jacked last month in SJ. They took his S-AFC, speakers and deck w/o faceplate. We were suprised they didn't take more...since he has some bolt ons and slips. And they obviously had fun with his B20 cause he got the car back with bald ES100's.

Oh yeah...if you're in the bay area...never take a modded car to Mercado Plaza in Santa Clara...somethin like 4 cars a day or stolen from there.

Thats why I never go watch movies or anything there. Last time I was there...3 years ago...I saw a cop on foot chasing a car in the parking lot. Car had a broken window so I know it was stolen.

Sorry, no further update yet guys, I just got back from work and my friend isnt answering his phone. I think he is still in stockton, but once I find out what happened, ill be typing away
But yea Bay Area is a bad place now, just 3 months ago someone broke into my car and stole my stereo and yanked the wires out of my s-afc. I was so close to losing my car, good thing they didnt pop my hood or goodbye boost, but hopefully my friends car isnt a total lost

My car got broken into about 3 months ago also. Took my deck and my intake. They were tryin hella hard to get into my trunk too. Since I lock my trunk latch in the cabin, they bent it so that the handle was straight up, stuck the screwdriver they used to get into my car, and tried prying the back seats open...ended up breaking the carpet board up there. Then since they didn't get in that way...they thought they could jam the screwdriver into my keyhole to my trunk.
Whoever broke into my car can have fun with my deck with the broken CD player, and my free intake...good thing they passed up my Oakley sunglasses while they dug through my glovebox lookin for my remote. I swear...some thieves are dumb as a hell. They'll go searching for a remote...but pass up $100+ sunglasses.
Hope they didn't strip your friend's car...that would suck. Looks like most thieves are just interested in stereos in Milpitas...not performance parts. I think they stole my intake just cause they couldn't get into my trunk.
