Default Am I screwed at this point?

So, Ive changed my oil pan as I was boosted before and am currently not. While doing so, I stripped 4 to 5 of the little bolts holding the pan to the block, so the thread is stuck in there and now Im leaking oil. Is there any solution for this with MAJOR costs?

Thanks..

You could feasibly have someone drill and pull it out....and then have the holes marked/welded shut....then tapped so that you now have a new threaded hole to deal with. Just a thought.

So are the bolts broken off in the block? I would try using an EZ-out extractor to remove them, and then Heli-coil to repair the threads if necessary.

yep, youve got it. Id use an ez-out, but I just hate doing that into the block.

Its not broken its just stripped correct? If so screw the studs out and replace them with new.

If its broken youll need to get it out and replaced with a new one. Is there any pieces left or its broken right into the block? If theres a piece try putting a vise grip on it and twisting it out, if you cant then its a drill out type thing you gotta do.

Either drill em and helocoil it or just drill em and tap new threads that are just slightly bigger, you still have room for about a size bigger.
