Alternator power in 2k civic EX
Does anyone know the power rating for the 2000 Civic EX? or a site that has that information on a chart? My lights be dimming when I use my windows too, I thought it could be my battery, but, I am not sure.

IMO i think it's normal, mine does that too..and so does the Oddyssy, Type-S, Accord....it's just drawing power from your battery which powers up EVERYTHING. so you get a little dim...

Yeah they all do it. As long as your charging system gets your battery back up to the normal voltage and your battery will hold a charge you are good to go.

normal, yes, but not fun I want it to charge the battery more on idle and driving when I leave the lights or sterio on, on those late nights playing sports or swimming... I would like to know so I can decide on a 130amp or 160 amp, who knows maybe its just the battery, but I would like to know the power, and I cannot see on the alt to check the power rating, its too crammed in there lol
