wait a minute, this guy did a auto to 5spd swap and said the axles were the same. I don't know for sure though, but he is driving it around town so ill ask.

hmm, that weird. When I did an auto to manual swap using my old d16z6 in some kids 95 autodx (mine is also a 95), my axles were round at the thick metal part and his were round then had a flatspot on each end, so it kinda looked like a Dl ah something like that, like an oval with the long sides saved off. He had his axles replaced at honda. I would assume that my axles were the orginals.
