is that a written rule? I'm in cali and just had my hatch aligned at a Les Scwab.
Do you have a local Les Scwab, I'm sure they can get it done.

Not so much a written rule, but driving the cars that are scraping the ground onto their lifts is just asking for trouble from some jackass who sues the company for f'ing up his car.

northbrook I think.... the place is called Thalmann alignment.
He works on anything but has a serious niche in lowered and race only cars.
He charges by the hour not by the job. So the more troubles he hits the more it's going to cost. Mine is about an hour, $60-80 cash and I'm out the door with the car set to what ever I want.

Les Schwab is a tire center here on the west coast... didn't know if they were just a west coast phenomenon. I only had a toe_out problem. so he charged me 23 bucks and cut me loose.

Unless something's changed, I would stay away from them - let's just say a little knowledge is a dangerous thing.
Personally I take my car to all the standard places - NTB, Sears, etc. - but my car isn't dumped. (maybe .25"-.5" drop)

there is a place around oak brook called "Auto Doc" that does them, but other than that I was turned down by pretty much every major alignment place.
