I came to ask you a question and you gave me a hard time. That puts you on a level with idiot noobs. I said I was lost because I didnt know what you were talking about and it seemed that you were incapable of puting your sentence together properly. Especially for someone who didnt know what you were talking about. You suck at life

How about this:
For whatever reason you may have had to spray your tires.....I'm assuming you were painting your rims with the tires on. You can also try brake cleaner and a brush to get it off. It also won't harm your tires.

Are you spraying it on the rim or tire? If you just want to remove paint on the rim, cover the tire to avoid damaging it. I don't know if it would or not but that **** is really acidic or something. It could eat through your hand!

Re: Aircraft remover harm?? (Revolver)
thank you for your input ,i didnt paint my tires though i am worried about overspray from the aircraft remover, it is in aerosol form and i dont want any getting on the tires, the problem is the paint goes all the way around the lip cause i painted the rims without tires on them.

If removing your tires isnt an option, then I would just wrap something around the tires as best you could. Sonds like this stuff could do some damage to rubber.

Re: Aircraft remover harm?? (Revolver)
ya it is pretty potent stuff, it'll remove any paint, spray leave for 10 minutes and it will spray off with a hose, but thank you for your advice
edit: i painted my tires W/O the tires on, the wheels are aluminum so i just want to strip the paint off w/o damaging the tires but the paint goes below the tire i don t care baout whats under the tire but i want it to all be aluminum again

Re: Aircraft remover harm?? (Soccerking3000)
i've used this stuff alot for all sorts of purposes, even cleaning stickers off paint.
when using try to avoid putting it on the wheel/tire. this **** is nasty-mean in large amounts or when it sits on rubber/plastic/paint. what you should do is spray it on a cloth and rub it on the tire like you would use paint thinner on drying paint. if theres alot on the tire, spray it lightly, then wipe it with the aircraft-dampned rag. when you get it all off wash it or spray it with a hose, if any residue sits it can potentially cause damage.
the key is to not let it sit. if it sits on anything it'll eat thru it (if petro based) or take every memory of paint off.
EDIT: DON'T LET IT SIT FOR 10 MIN! i've lost a few rad hoses and tires that way, it should just take seconds. just spray, and wipe
