Default Airbag replacement

Ok so i got into a little wreck and my airbags went off... Ive already got the old airbags out and im looking to buy some ones from a junkyard... Question is do i have to replace the module or can i just reset it? Also if i do replace the module where is it? so pretty much just any help in regards to installation! haha any help would be much appreciated! Dont feel like installing them wrong and having one just go off in my face... Once is enough!

I had an accident as well and I am replacing the module and possibly the wiring too. I am parting a car so why not...its there for the taking. I have heard that the modules can be reset but I believe you must take it to the dealer or a specialist for this. Not sure if this is true, but that is what I have been told. The module on 96-00 civics (from your avatar I assume you have a 96-00 civic) is located behind the center console under the dash.
