Air conditioning in a 95 Civic EX
I've had this 95 EX for a few months now and I really dont like the lack of A/C. The car came from the factory without A/C. My question is which parts do I need to install A/C? Do I still have the blower thing behind the dash? TIA

Re: Air conditioning in a 95 Civic EX (95EX)
your ex came with out a/c, damn that sucks, i thought all ex would have a/c
well anyways there is a list of things you will need
compressor
condenser
lines
fan
relays
and some other small things
probably a new climate control unit because the cx that does not a/c has a different climate control

my suggestion, if you plan to do a swap , just get a jdm sir front clip for about $2200 and you get all those goodies, like a/c , pwr steering and etc. but stand alone a/c unit NOT worth of money and time....

Try and buy a front clip, I bought everything except a compresser (which is the most expensive part) and it got to be very expensive (near 700).

Re: Air conditioning in a 95 Civic EX (95EX)
i have the whole thing out of my 95 sitting in the garage.
You should still have the blower under your dash(your fan should work even if it blows warm air on cold)
anyways, pm me back if you are interested
