aiming headlights on 99-00
i have a 00 civic and i need to aim the headlihgts. i searched already and found some stuff but i still cant figure it out. I see the screw/gear mechanism and i turned that, but it only adjusts the headlights left and right. i need to adjust my headlights up and down. anyone know how to adjust my headlights to point them up and down? is there another gear/screw mechanism that will adjust it? thanks

Re: aiming headlights on 99-00 (Dj Villain)
The headlights have a spring-loaded adjusting screws for controlling up-and-down (inner) and left-and-right (outer nearest the parking light).
Park 25' away from a blank wall on level ground.
Put masking tape vertically on the wall in reference to the vehicle centerline and the centerlines of both headlights.
Postition horizontal tape line in reference to the centerline of all the headlights. (Do this when the car is close to the wall)
Starting with the lowbeam adjustment, postion the hight intesity zone so it is two inches below the horizontal line and two inches to the right of the headlight vertical line. Adjustment is made by turning the verticle screw.
With the high beams on, the high intensity zone should be vertically centerdd with the exact center just blow the horizontal line.
Help?
