just get the 3 pod pillar, its cheaper (im betting) and its better since u done have to look at the passenger side for readings, u can just look a little to the left.

Re: aftermarket gauges in passenger side dash (knockout)
That's badass - I want to get some put into my car. I still want my pillar pods, but I want gauges for the passenger to see too. I think it would get the passenger a little more psyched up, and into the driving.

I think a passnger-side steering wheel would be the best way to get the passenger psyched up for driving.

Re: aftermarket gauges in passenger side dash (dantastic)
gauges in the passenge side dash are for show cars, the gauges are to far away for you to look at them and try to drive at the same time. and why would looking at a air/fuel gauge or oil pressure gauge get the passenger psyced up.
but if you really want to do it get a drill with a hole saw bit the same size as the gauge and drill into the dash and then slide the gauge in and bezel on the gauge will cover the hole

gauges in passenger side are for show, i have a friend got his Defi gauges inside his glove box, im asking him why and he said to keep theives away, might got a point but i think its a little TOO far to look at the gauges.
I will recommand to install in CD deck or A piller.
Im going to get a set of 52mm gauges soon, perfect fitment in a 1DIN hole

Re: (sinister6)
if you got an EK there are special frames so you can put two extra guages
if you got a del Sol (or a car with round vents) you can always fit one in the drivers side air vent (which is not wise if you live somewhere cold and you need to defrost you side windows)
Other than that you could get a center dash frame which Impreza owners use and both you and the co-driver can see.

Re: (james p.)
Haha, you guys are asses
FYI, expensive cars sometimes have center or passenger gauges so that the passenger can see them. It makes for a more exciting ride, that's all.

I meant more like ... speedo, tacho, boost gauge (I don't know the -meter name for it )

Only thing that can psyced up a passanger, is Speedo, Boost gauge and RPM gauge.
when those are equally important for the driver to monitor. or already in the cluster, I dont think any other thing will work
unless you want to show them your 1000 degrees C exhaust temp, when the number is big enough..
