after gsr swap problems!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!1

Default after gsr swap problems!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!1

well guys i swapped my si hatch with a 99 gsr swap so now i asked on honda-tech if i could use the gsr wire harness and they said yes now i got to plug everything up and everything is connected but on the shock tower harness there one extra plug and the colors are pink/yellow black. now when i try to start the car it wont start theres a new dizzy on the engine and starter. but now the thing is when i try to start it the speedometer startes to to go up as i try starting it a couple of my friends say it could be ground but i checked every ground tranny vavle cover alternator even thermosat. so i really dont what to do and also imy main relay is clicking and it neva did that before the gsr swap so can someone plz help me thanks

I have a 97 civic dx that I swapped a GSR engine into. I used a 96-98 Civic EX harness if that helps.

yea but my swap came with the gsr harness and i asked if i can use the gsr harness and ppl on here said that i can

ok you have to re pin your dizzy. the 92-95 have two plug for the dizzy instead of one. no powers going to the dizzy.

no im not because the dizzy plugs are in two not one and the harness came off a running car which was a eg hatch

what year is the car and what year engine harness your using.

just do yourself a favor and get an EX harness for the year ecu/motor your swaping. So much easier.
