Default AEM V2

I just got my v2 put it by myself and i dont know much, but it was common sense with the instuctions and man do i feel the difference, i recommend to everyone not as bad as some say...

I've been thinking about this product for a long time now. You are pretty a-busive, does it give a lot of uphill power overall... sure it does. Im still deciding though engine work with the D16 or suspension.

its probably the sound from the intake making u feel the "oh man i do i feel a difference"

i have a v2 and trust me going from stock to this u can feel the difference, it nots big but u can feel it

I'm sure the sound makes it seem like you make a lot more power than you actually do.

Yes it does to the fullest i feel the power when i accelerate and i only have a intake and tein suspension i cant wait till i get -/h/e....

I'm sure you can buy the decal and plate frame on eBay for cheap... Oh well, you paid a premium for the name and an overengineered intake. Have fun!

Going from any stock intake to just about any aftermarket intake setup will be noticable .

aem over engineered?
if aem didnt 'over engineer' their products, you would not see cheap knockoffs on ebay

fact is, aem intakes are infact no better then ebay intakes, but aem didnt steal their designs from another company

i have a aem short ram, io got cost on it + shipping so i was happy

im thinking of getting one too, of course youll feel a difference over the stock restrictive intake,
it's not meant for power it's more of a making your engine breath better and running more smoothly

Wow this is the worst thread ever, might have been interesting with actual dyno #s or something, instead of yay i got a intake and I think my car is faster now.

funny i just saw a commercial of some kinda of k&n air filters and they had a guaranteed hp gain and they were claiming 20hp !! omg lol hehe
