Go with ebay they might not get as much hp but the extra $100 is not worth the little extra gain. I got a full CAI on ebay for like $50 shipped.

Problem is I've already asked around and no ones been answering: What's in that hole in the stock resonator when I take it off? Can I just pop the tube off and thats it? Or do I have to patch it up and with what?

When you take off the LOWER resonator, all you do is take off everything below the stock filter box. Its not that difficult. You do need to remove the wheel well lining to get to it better(just the front lower part of it). There is a box and tube that connects them. Take the tube and resonator box off and your good to go. Nothing to plug up or anything.

I would go with ebay but how reliable are those filters? I mean...it's a $30 intake.....that itself raises doubt.... And I've been to local auto stores and K&N cone filters are roughly $40-50 which I won't have for a while. I'm broke like no other so I just need to buy an intake and stick with it without having to work around it.
