ok, this is the gsr intake manifold. The one that curls upward not downward.
This is the car:
This is the engine:
So a 99-00 Civic Si AEM Cold Air intake will be what I need? ( just for verification )

what... its GSR man... thats the only one that will fit because of the intake mani design.
personally, my buddy is running a GSR intake on his 96 hatch with a GSR motor... they are a little different, but if anything will fit, it would be the GSR intake. you might need to move around your radiator overflow tank though

I've always heard and seen GSR AEM's on a EG with a GSR motor. Now B16's will use a 99-00si and type R intake but with the GSR's intake where it is there is no way I can see a 99-00 si one working at all. I would like to see a pic of that.

You bastard. lol
All of the GSR intakes I found go to the radiator fan / over flow canister and dont look as if they go through the factory air box hole.
The guy I personally know has an aem intake that goes right through the hole from the intake mani and has the same engine/mani as me. He said it was a 95 del slow. My only speculation is that people here local will tell you anything to cause you more pain and suffering . Can anyone validate this theory? Or does the gsr intake go to the factory airbox hole?

GSR will work. It doesn't run the same way thru the hole where the stock air box goes. It goes under the frame rail and then up over the splash guard.
GSR . It's the only one that will line up with your throttle body !!!!!!!!!

99-00 Si. Used it on my gsr with both the stock manifold and the skunk2. Clears both, fits nice. Also, i had a strut tower bar both times, and it fit.

Damn Steve, I didn't know that was your car man! I love that thing! So clean, and I love the sticker on the fender, what is it? Advan or something? I hope one day to see your car and catch a ride with you in it. Maybe I'll take you for a ride in my H22 eg too!
EDIT: BTW, I was showing your car pics to my girlfriend a week or 2 ago when you were first talking about putting it in and everyone was trying to find your house to take your motor!! LOL, anyways, I was telling her that that is what I would want mine to look like if I had a white hatchback! to you for a clean *** hatch buddy!!!

Re: Which AEM intake for 92 CX w/ 95 GSR swap? (delete187)
OKay man its the same for the ek as it is for the eg.... you can use a gsr intake because of the intake mani....but i guess you can use an SI as well but when ever using a gsr intake mani with either a ek or eg it will fit...here is evidence...
96civic
gsr mani..
with 94+ gsr AEM.
Yeah i have the hole cuz i used to have the old aem for my dx beast! but i sold it cuz it has a smaller diatmeter than that of a gsr aem...
