Amusing, but I hardly think you're going to be denied the chance of racing someone on account of an intake. Figure out how to hide a turbo or supercharger and you've got yourself a winner of an idea .

it wasnt done for the fact of racing someone.

ITs so that dumbass cops wont hassle you when they see a stock airbox.

plus it was free

maybe if you gutted the underside of the airbox and actually slipped it over the intake it would look better.

it would look good with an intake that doesn't go through the hole in the car way to the passenger side

I'd worry more about the supercharger or the exhaust header. Why don't you get a factory exhaust manifold heat shield to bolt up to your header? Then, cut an intake manifold in half and bolt the upper half of it to your supercharger. Totally stock man!!!!

So you're planning on hiding the S/C and the header too, right? And the exhaust, and the suspension, and the fact that you drive a Honda which is an automatic police magnet? Once a cop has pulled you over, having a hidden intake isn't going to do **** to disuade him/her from giving you a ticket.

Figure out how to disguise your Civic as a stock Geo Metro and you'll have done the world a favor.

I'm not flaming you because it's a bad idea: it's a nice way to disguise that one mod. However, the thing I'm confused about is that you say you did it to keep cops off your back. Now both you and I know that once a cop pulls you over, you're done. If he looks under your hood and you've hidden your intake, he'll still see the header and the supercharger. All I'm saying is that, while a good start, it's not doing anything for the cause you stated.

Don't get so upset. Take it easy and have a .
