Default AEM Brake Pads?

Hey guys just wondering if any of you have used or heard anything about the AEM brake pads. AEM claims that it increase stopping distance dramatically, just wondering if it's worth the little extra money? Thanks for your help.

yeah I used them for a year, bullshit claims too... it is all PR bullshit. The nice thing about AEM's is they do NOT dust as DARK in color as other pads do. They are a great pad compared to OEM, but there are far better pads out there for aggressive drivers. The Porterfield R4S is a fantastic all around pad.. can b had at okay prices direct from http://www.porterfield-brakes.com

Just go with the Axxis organic pads... zero brake dust and zero rotor damage. I just bought a set for my civic for $35.

Couldn't help myself... Seriously though, they're just ok pads. Not worth any premium over OEM pads at all. Get a real pad... Plenty of choices out there.

you want to INCREASE your stopping distance?!?!

I though you want to DECREASE your stopping distance.

Get AXISS, Endless, or Porterfield.

That makes no sense to me whatsoever. You can't have zero dust, zero wear. I highly doubt laws of physics are different for these pads.

Stick with HP+ or Carbotech Panther Plus, or something similar. Pads that actually make a difference. If yo're rich, Endless is fine, but perform no better than Hawk or other US counterpart.
